FAIRBANK, 56, REAL ESTATE BROKER, DIES
Kellogg Fairbank Jr., 56, wealthy real estate broker and a member of a prominent Chicago family, died yesterday in his home at 1244 N. State st.
He was the grandson of Chicago pioneers. His late father was a prominent attorney and active in the old Municipal Voters league. His mother, the late Janet Ayer Fairbank, a novelist, was former Democratic national committeewoman for Illinois.

Graduate of Harvard
Mr. Fairbank, who was graduated from Harvard university, specialized in industrial real estate.
Mr. Fairbank was a member of the board of the Chicago Hearing society and the board of the Chicago Academy of Sciences. He was a former president of the Harvard club and during World War II was head of the Chicago chapter of the Red Cross.

Services Set Tomorrow
He is survived by his widow, the former June Cornell; two sons, Kellogg Fairbank III and David Ezekiel; four daughters, Mrs. Laura Fairbank Ames, Susan, Elizabeth, and Margaret Ayer Fairbank; a brother, Benjamin; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Ames.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in St. Chrysostom's Episcopal church, 1424 N. Dearborn st.
