Tony was born June 5, 1940 to Mose John and Maxine Collins Allison. He married Berry Ann Ray from Philipp in August 1958.
When his dad, Mose, Sr. had a stroke in the fall of 1958, Tony promised him that he would complete a bachelor's degree. He graduated with honors from Mississippi State University in January 1962 then returned home to the community he loved. From that point he served his community in many different ways.
Tony loved the Tippo United Methodist Church, joining as a young boy in 1949 he began leading the singing about the age of 10. He remained a faithful member his entire life. He served as Administrative Chairperson, Sunday School Superintendent, teacher, song leader, lay speaker and youth group leader. He served on the Strider Academy Board of Directors, and was the Voice of the Strider Academy Ram football team. A Tippo Little League Baseball Group was established and coached by him. He served as President of the Tallahatchie Chapter of Mississippi State Alumni Association.
After 26 years of farming, he accepted a position with U. S. Department of Agriculture retiring after 20 years of service in 2007.
Tony was a devoted husband and father.He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Berry Ann. Also surviving him are his two daughters; Ann Trevor (Eddie) Tanous of Lexington, KY,Adria A. (Juan) Matos of New York City, one son, Anthony C. (Tracy) Allison, Jr. of Austin, TX. There are three granddaughters; Chelsea and Emily Tanous, Ashley Allison, five grandsons; David Tanous, Troy and Matthew Allred, Collins and Mose Allison. He is also survived by his brother Mose (Audre) Allison and sister Joy (Paul,deceased) Amann as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mose and Maxine Allison.
