June was a retired teacher's assistant at the Lakeview School in Mahopac. She was a parishioner and folk group music director at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac and was a member of the Columbiettes.
On June 12, 1954 she married Herbert F. Hillery in Buffalo. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Terrence (Louise), H. Christopher (Jane), Kevin (Patricia) and Sean, her daughters Cathleen Truschelli (Michael), Colleen Strawderman (Mark) and Susan Groth (Rick) as well as 17 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Timothy.
Visiting will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church with interment to follow at Ballard-Barrett Cemetery in Mahopac Falls.
