Married to the late Abraham Bell, Sr., she lived happily with him until his passing in 1983. This union was blessed with two children, one preceding her in death.
Cora and Abraham moved to Titusville, FL, in 1924, making their home in the community.
Cora became a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she attended regularly and supported its varied programs, projects and ministries. She was a member of the Ladies Aide Society and a charter member of Lily White Lodge #95. To these she generously gave her full support.
Cora will be remembered best for her love and loyalty to her family and friends, her dedication and devotion to God and church, and her gentleness of spirit
On February 17, 1994, the Lord called Cora home to eternal rest. She has worked overtime in this life and now it is time to rest.
Cherishing her memory are a loving son and loyal and devoted daughter-in-law, Abraham, Jr., and Mary Etta Bell of Titusville, FL; nine grandchildren, Richard Bell, Sr. (Shirley), Betty Pinkey (Harold), Glennie Bell, Gloria Brown (Tommy), Alphonso Bell (Janice), Dennis Bell (Rachel), Valerie Robinson (Michael), Cora Etta Bell, and Abraham Melvin Bell III; twenty-two great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
