Swedish matriarch. Ragnhild was the wife of industrialist Stefan Anderson. She was born in Stora Tuna (Borlänge) Sweden and moved south a bit to the village of Marnäs in Ludvika with her parents and five siblings. She was supportive of her husband in his successful career and served as Chairman herself of large women's organizations corresponding to Mr. Anderson's endeavors. Their trip to the United States in 1955, which she emphatically called "mitt livs resa!" (the journey of my lifetime) was one of the many adventurous undertakings of their happy marriage. Ragnhild Anderson was 96 when she died in 1987 and is remembered as a very colorful personality.
