Mrs. Florence Leona Waldo, 59, of 3101 Eighteenth Street, Eureka, died at her home Thursday night. A native of Rohnerville she had lived in Humboldt County all her life.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank O. Simmons, a pioneer family of this area. Her husband, Elmer E. Waldo, died in May of this year.
Survivors include a brother, William R. Simmons, Eureka; two nieces, Mrs. Carl Johansen and Mrs. Charles Jessen, both of Eureka; also other nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Sander's funeral home with interment in Sunset Memorial Park. The Rev. Bert E. Weeks will officiate at the service.
