❦ Early Life: Donna was born September 11, 1931, in Provo, Utah, to Leo and Nora Busby.
❦ Life's Work | Service | Interests: She married her loving sweetheart, Grant C. Brereton, on August 4, 1950. They were later sealed for all eternity on August 15, 1960, at the Salt Lake Temple. She loved, cherished and always supported her true love and companion. Donna had a compassionate love for her children and grandchildren and enjoyed being a homemaker. She had a deep love and natural talent for art her whole life. She shared and sold her work at many exhibits in Utah County through the years. She enjoyed photography, crocheting, cross stitching, quilting, and was a fabulous seamstress making clothes for her children and even her daughter's beautiful prom dresses and wedding gowns. As an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many callings throughout her life before suffering with dementia. Donna Lavenia Busby Brereton, of Orem, Utah, peacefully passed on the eve of January 18, 2016, of natural causes. She was 84.
❦ Survived By: Her husband, Grant; children: Terry Ann Taylor, Kris (Alan) McNeil, Trudy (Lynn) Quigley, Clark (Lisa) Brereton, Noralyn Louder, and Michael (Stacy) Brereton; her 27 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
❦ Preceded In Death By: Her daughter, Jeanine Brereton; her parents: Leo and Nora Busby; her brothers: Ernst, George and Alvin Busby; her sons-in-law: Denny Taylor and Brian Louder.
