She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carroll L. Aasheim and a beloved son, Michael Lewis Aasheim.
Surviving are her beloved granddaughter, Kristie Aasheim, Roanoke; sisters, Lois Brightwell, Joan G. Campbell, and Imogene Stout, all of Roanoke; brothers, John (Dick) Griffin and wife, Anne, Columbia, Md., Haley Edward, James Ronald Griffin and wife, Gray, all of Roanoke; devoted friend, Elizabeth Monsour, Moneta; a number nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel by the Rev. Emory N. Tarpley Sr. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Oakey's North Chapel.
