In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry W. Parks and sister, Deborah Parks Marcum.
He had been a truck driver for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Henderson Parks; children, Tessie (Lonnie) Sharp, Tabitha (Lewis) Gaylor, Heather (Terry Jr.) Zimpfer, Wilton (Paige) Parks Jr.; grandchildren, Josh, Jacob, Hannah, Lydia, Lindsay, Chloe, Miley; great granddaughter, Allie; brother, Johnny (Jean) Parks, Shonda (George) Lay and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
