She was born September 19, 1930 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Hobart McKinley Treece and Amanda Lee (Castleberry) Treece.
She attended East Side Baptist Church.
Private burial for close friends and family will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 64 years Hal Smith.
She leaves behind her children Sandy and Mike Woods of Florida, Sharon and Lee Gilbert of Texas and Dennis and Brenda Smith of Oklahoma, her grandchildren Jency and Russell Steven, Courtney and Kenny Morris, Carrie and Danny Magill, Kaedy and Kevin Stallings, Chris and Freida Smith and Joshua and Jenny Smith, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Barnard, Hagan Jones, Joshua Smith, Chris Smith, Russell Steven and Logan Haulsey. Honorary pallbearer will be Kelsee Lunsford.
