He was a corrections officer, working for the State of Illinois at Shawnee Correctional Center, Vienna. He was member of Community of Christ Church in Eldorado, Illinois. He belonged to AFSCME Local No. 3605 and was an avid bowhunter, bass fisherman and wonderful son.
He is survived by a son, Brandon Lee Potts of Sebring, Fla.; a daughter, Ashley Nicole Potts of Sebring, Fla.; a brother, Mark (Barb) Potts of Redbud; several nieces and nephews, Josh Potts, Jordan Potts, Jared Potts and Jennifer (Kevin) Voss; a great-nephew, Logan Voss; and several cousins, aunts and uncles....
