Ruby Mae Riggin, 71, of Crisfield, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake.

Born in Crisfield on August 24, 1944, she was a daughter of the late William Norris “Bud” Justice, Sr. and the late Sallie Mae Howard Outten.

Ruby was an Educational Assistant at Woodson Elementary School. She loved to work every day with the children and staff members and she will be dearly missed by them all. She was also owner of R&R Crafts and was very well known for her framing. A member of the Crisfield Church of God, she loved the Lord and her family. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren, and also her two pet dogs, Gordon and Sadie.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Roger Ralph “Bubby” Riggin, Jr.; five children, Lynette Lau and husband Jeff of Princess Anne, Terri Arietta, Jim “Chops” Baker and wife Toni, Kim Richards and husband David, and Roger Ralph “Buggy” Riggin, III and wife Brandi, all of Crisfield; eight grandchildren, Kristin Lau, Spencer Cropper, Austin Baker, Alan Baker, Jr., Amanda Richards, Roger Ralph Riggin, IV, Kelsey Riggin, and Evan Riggin; one brother, William “Woozie” Justice and wife Carol of South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Mary Hall of Crisfield; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ellen Jane Hall; and two brothers-in-law, Ellsworth Hall and Jimmie Hall.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park. The services will be officiated by the Rev. Harvey Tyler and the Rev. Bob Daniels. All are welcome to attend the service.
