PEARL ALICE JOHANSEN MEDEIROS Pearl Alice Johansen Medeiros, 86, went to be with the Lord Tuesday Aug. 18, 2015 with her family by her side. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, Texas Holdem, and she loved to talk to people and make them smile -- she never met a stranger. She graduated from Eureka High School in Eureka, CA. She was a waitress at Liberty Bell Saloon in reno, NV. She married Mickey on September 13, 1981 in Riverbelle Park, NV. After retirement they lived in Eureka, CA, Maui, HI and then in Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband Milton "Mickey" Medeiros of Indiahoma, OK; children: Karen Louise Stewart of Junction City, CA, Jon (Ethel) Katvala of Indiahoma, OK, Kimi LaFinier of Sparks, NV, Carol (Bob) Phillips of Reno; grandchildren: Aimee and Bobby Mallett, Becky and Scotty Adair, Jon Enseo Katvala, Joshua and Brittney Katvala, Brian Stewart, Emily Stewart, Erin Clarke, Trevor Phillips, Brittany LaFinier, Carrie LaFinier, Jake and Loni LaFinier; great-grandchildren: Ryan and Cole Mallett, Dee Ann Tucker, Jonathan Katvala, Jordan Sprinkle, Christian Adair, Skyler Adair, Kayla Adair, Zack Frickie, Becca Dutton, Bailey Dutton, Avery Bryant, Lilly Katvala, Jackson Katvala, Necia Stewart, Victoria Martin, Isabella Martin, Ivan Martin, Ryder LaFinier and Conner LaFinier; great-great-grandchildren: Hoyt Robinson, Kirklynn Robinson, Carson Mallett, Aubrey Mallett and Hayden Manning; and nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Vinnie Opel Fidelia Starr Johansen; brothers and sisters: Ray Leroy Johansen, Clara Opal Johansen, George Martin Johansen, Anna Fidelia Johansen, Harry Glenn Johansen, Andrew Fredrick Johansen, Charles Johansen, Emma Sylvia Johansen, Carl Oscar Johansen and Glennwood Peter Johansen. A Memorial Service was held Monday Aug. 24th at Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel with Gray Johansen officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Fort Sill National Cemetery.
