Catherine "Betty" Adamson

Betty died Monday at Timberview Care Center after a long illness with multiple sclerosis.

She was born in Lebanon, the daughter of Albert and Sue (Wagner) Grugett. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1956.

Betty will be remembered as the popular owner of the original Dog House near West Albany High School.

Betty married Ernest William Adamson in 1974 in Virginia City, Nev. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1996.

She is survived by brother Martin Grugett of Lebanon; sister Paula Nohrnberg of Jefferson; cousins Dave Grugett of Albany, Judy Sapone of Albany and Erma Duncan of Newark, Calif.; five nephews; and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Al'Lane Grugett Jump.

A graveside service will be Saturday at the Lebanon IOOF Cemetery.
