She was one of the city's oldest residents and had spent her entire life here. Born Feb. 9. 1855, In Oshkosh, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ganem W.. Washburn, early Wisconsin settlers.
Mrs. Harmon graduated from Oshkosh High school in 1873 and was married May 2, 1895, to L. D. Harmon, Oshkosh insurance man. He died in 1910.
Mrs. Harmon's two children, Mrs. A. Knox Klmberly of Neenah and Ellis Cady, preceded her in death.
Though many of her activities had been curtailed in later years, Mrs. Harmon was known as an active clubwoman. She was the first president of St. Agnes guild of Trinity Episcopal church to which she belonged for many years. She was a member of the Study class, the Leisure Hour Art club and one of the early members of the DAR,
For the past 3O years she had lived in her Mount Vernon street home with her housekeeper, Mrs. Alma Bleck.
Surviving are two grandchildren, John Kimberly III, now stationed with the navy in Hawaii and Mrs. Walter F. Sutter, the former Susan Kimberly, of Neenah, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at Mallery & Seefeld funeral home with Dr. James A. Daum of First Presbyterian church officiating. The casket will remain closed. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
