Life's Work/Service/Interests: Mike was a former resident of Carbon County and attended Carbon High School. On July 15, 1965, he married his high school sweetheart, Lou Ann Krompel, in Pocatello, Idaho; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mike managed automotive stores and loved driving truck with Western Coal Carriers for over 17 years. His dream was to own an automotive business which he purchased in 1993 in Provo, Utah. Due to Mike’s contagious personality, his customers instantly became his friends. His children were his pride and joy as well as his ten grandchildren. He loved vacationing with family, attending grandchildren’s events and riding his motorcycle. Mike was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed temple work at the Mount Timpanogos Utah LDS Temple.
