ANCIL L. SWINFORD
Ancil L. Swinford of Farmington passed away on December 5, 1979 at Farmington Community Hospital at the age of 78 years.
He was born May 23, 1901 in Doe Run, Mo. a son of the late Frank Swinford and Lucy Beck Swinford.
On June 8, 1921 he was united in marriage to Mabel Hunt who preceded him in death in 1952. In March of 1953 he was united in marriage to Hazel Wilkerson who survives.
He is survived by his wife Hazel Wilkerson Swinford, Farmington; One step-son Charles Thomas of Jefferson City, Mo.; Two daughters Arduth Lipsey, Chicago, Ill; and Jacqueline (Mrs. Art) Roseler, Houston, Texas; One brother Roy Swinford, Melville, Mo. Also ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 8, 1979 at 2 p.m. at the Cozean Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Cowan and Larry Johnson officiating. Interment was in the Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington.
