FUNERAL MRS. REED
The funeral of Mrs. Mary Reed, widow of the late Wm. F. Reed, who died Thursday, was held today at 11 o'clock at the home of her son Cyrus Reeds (sic), east 7th street. Services conducted by Rev. Jones. The funeral was a large one as Mrs. Reed was one of the best known and most beloved women of the community and the many friends and relatives wished to pay their last respects and view the remains. The floral offerings were many and were beautiful tributes of the esteem in which she was held. The music was by Mrs. Charles Simmons, Mrs. Hostetter, Charles Springer and Charles Pauley and the selections were "Jesus, Lover of My Soul," "Nearer My God To Thee," "Abide With Me." Internment was at Rose Hill. Among those here from out of town were Rev. Culmer of Indianapolis and Richard James and son of Brazil.
