Daughter of Jubal Early Pate and Martha 'Betsy' Holladay, she was first married to Henry Michelberry Graves with whom she had a daughter in 1861 (Ina Graves). Ina Graves later married Thomas Luther's son, Davidson "David" Nichols Draper.

Widowed in 1864, when Henry died of smallpox in Andersonville POW Camp, she married widower Thomas Luther Draper, July 12, 1877, Jackson, TN. He was previously married to Mary Jane Apple.

Widowed in 1893, she married widower Elbert Woodard. They appear on the 1900 census, Campbell, Greene County, Missouri where he is a farmer, and with his son James Woodard 47 and her son Thomas Jordan Draper 17.

Her death certificate uses name Woodard and indicates birth at Salt Lick. Her burial is in unmarked grave at family cemetery in Springfield, TN, with second husband, Thomas Luther Draper. TL is buried in Draper-Faqua cemetery with gravestone marker in Robertson County, Springfield, TN. Informant: Steve/Sue Pate
