Eva Anderson, wife of Edward, was a resident of Dufferin St., Toronto, at the time of her accidental death. On May 4 Eva showed up for work at her job in the Neilson Candy Factory on Gladstone Avenue. Just before 10 a.m. the walls suddenly gave way in the section she was working in. The weight of a boiler on the third apparently caused the building to collapse. Eva's crushed body was pulled from the rubble around 11:30 a.m.
