John Kunz immigrated with his brother Jacob from Switzerland on 28 Sep 1848, arriving in New Orleans. They proceeded to Nashville, Tennessee, where John spent the rest of his life until 1888, when, in failing health he lived with his brother in Chattanooga.

Gravesite Details

Buried originally in Citizens Cemetery. His remains were moved to Forest Hills Cemetery along with those of his brother Jacob, and Jacob's wife and son. He was interred in the same Lot with them on 17 Aug 1930.
