About 968, Lambert I married Adelaide, the daughter of Gilbert, Duke of Burgundy and widow of Robert of Vermandois.

Children:

Hugh, count of Chalon and bishop of Auxerre

Gerberga, who was married to Adalbert of Italy.

Mathilda, married Geoffrey of Semur.

This is her actual burial with 2nd husband Lambert de Autun. A Cenotaph is in St Aubins with first husband Robert de Vermandois.
