HUNT, HALLIE INEZ, age 82 of Madisonville, widow of Rev. Kenneth D. Hunt, passed away Saturday, afternoon, February 28, 2015 at home. She enjoyed staying home and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Gurthie and Reba McInturff Crofts, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Burt and Dovie Hunt, granddaughter-in-law by marriage, Jessica Farley Gee, her aunts and their husbands who raised her from the age of three because of the death of her mother, Ross and Lily Moses and Reed and Hallie Pesterfield. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Ann and Bill Gee; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Don and Robin Hunt, of Madisonville; grandchildren, Randal and Tina Benson, Rev. Chris and Candi Gee, Heather Hunt, Lisa and David Compton, Keisha and Billy Anderson, Kristen Hunt; great grandchildren, Trace, Justice and Landria Benson, Kali Compton, Tucker and Tate Anderson, Kelsey and Derayshia Gee; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby D. and Mildred Crofts, of Madisonville; special cousins with whom she was raised, Rosie Kincaid and Jane Ballew. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Monday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Dwayne Leming, Rev. Chris Gee officiating. Interment 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Haven Hill Memorial Gardens, Rev. Gale Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Don Hunt, Justice Benson, Trace Benson, Randal Benson, Rev. Chris Gee, Billy Anderson, David Compton and Senior airman Kristen Hunt. Honorary pallbearers will be the great granddaughters. Memorials may be made to Gideons International. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
