Charles Abate died at the age of 55, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, New Jersey. He had previously lived in Westerleigh, New York, and Castleton Corners, New York. He moved to West Palm Beach, Florida before settling in Old Bridge, New Jersey in 2014. He worked as a Private Investment Consultant for more than 20 years. He enjoyed hiking, country drives, walks on the boardwalk, cooking, dining out, and a fan of Jersey Shore. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kimberly Abate, and two sons Nicholas Abate and Joseph Abate.
