COTTAGE GROVE/MADISON — James William Boyd Jr., age 36, of Cottage Grove, WI. died September 23, 1984, at a local hospital, unexpectedly. He was born December 16, 1947, in Salem, Illinois. He was the owner/operator of X-PERT Auto Glass Company. He married the former Rosann Acker on October 7, 1971. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church of Cottage Grove; the Eastside Businessmen's Association; and the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7775. He was the past Lt. Governor of the Kiwanis Club in Menomonie. He was also a member of the Body Shop Association and a member of the Zoning Board of Cottage Grove. He is survived by his wife Rosann; three children, James Jr., Crystal Dee and Tina; a sister, Mrs. Stormie (LeRoy) Miller; his parents James & Eleanor Boyd; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at ST. PATRICKS CATHOLIC CHURCH at 434 N. Main St., in Cottage Grove at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 1984, with Father David H. Runde officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
