Marie de Montmirail (Lady of Meaux, Montmirail and d'Oisy, la Fere, Saint-Gobain), daughter of Jean I de Montmirail and Helvide de Dampierre, married Enguerrand III de Coucy in 1213, with whom she had six children:
1. Marie (#9306335), married 1. King Alexander II of Scotland, 2. Jean d'Acre, son of Jean de Brienne, King of Jerusalem.
2. Raoul II, married Philippe de Danmartin, died in 1250 at the Battle of Mansourah on the 7th Crusade.
3. Enguerrand IV (#120086061), married 1. Margaret of Gueldres and 2.Joan of Flanders, d. 1311
4. Jean
5. Alix, married Arnold III, Count of Guines
6. Jeanne married Jean I, Lord of Mailly

Marie is buried in the Abbaye de Longpont, near her father, Blessed Jean.
