Banks, Essie Vanessa Born February 8, 1912 in Green Wood, LA., passed away on March 9, 2009. Preceded by husband Eddie, daughter Francis as well as 3 sons Sammy, Benjamin, and Eddie. Survived by 8 children Ernie, Edna, Evelyn, Estella, Walter, Donald, Glover, Robert and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wake will be held at 7:00 PM Friday March 13, 2009 at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday March 14, 2009 at The Potter's House.
