Marion Evelyn Kimerling served in the Womans Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) in WW2. Duty stations included Santa Barbara, California and Camp White, Oregon. She worked as a clerk, and was awarded the WAAC Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, and WWII Victory Medal. She married Ross Kimerling on April 9, 1948, in Nebraska. Marion Evelyn Kimerling of Redmond died Monday of age-related causes. She was 84.
Mrs. Kimerling was born Oct. 5, 1921, in Minnesota. She served in the U.S. Army during World War II. She married Ross Kimerling on April 9, 1948, in Nebraska. Mrs. Kimerling was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rodney of Boise, Idaho, and Marston of Olympia, Wash.; a daughter, Cindy of Snohomish, Wash.; two brothers, Johnny and Kenneth Shine; a sister, Alice Agerter; and two grandchildren. No services are planned.
