Stafford-Riches, Jacob P.
My sons name was Jacob Riches and he MATTERED. On December 31, 2014 at the young age of 31 he passed away unexpectedly and was reunited by his brother's welcoming arms, Jason C. Riches, up in heaven. After his brother died in 2007, Jacob asked me if he could write his own obituary, if his disease eventually took his life. I told him YES. On Christmas night 2014, Jacob stated to me "You know Mom, I finally know what love is. Aunt Debbie & Uncle John Ricey really loves me." "My cousins, Rachel, Bronson, Jenny Ricey and Erin Nestor, never put me down 'cause I look different 'cause of Neurofibromatosis and suffered from Schizophrenia. They all love me, you Mom (Karen Riches), Gramma (Violet Monk) and Christine (Christine Knox) loves me." "I am truly at peace now. I know what love is." I then told him, "I Love You to pieces Jacob" and he said "I know that, but it's time to rest and go to sleep. Good Night Mom." A very special thank you to People Inc. and the Woodside Home of Eden. Everyone involved truly made my Jacob feel at home. As his mother, that was a blessing and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. The family will be present on Friday from 4-8 PM at the (Harris Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8440 Main St. (near Harris Hill Rd.) where family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service to be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM.
