Jessie Harris, 87, Elkton, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Latham Funeral Home, Elkton, with the Revs. Eddie Fowler and Leroy Crouch officiating.
Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A native of Christian County, she was born Jan. 24, 1927, the daughter of the late Beckham and Gertie Burchett Rose.
She was a homemaker and a member of Petrie Memorial United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Clarence Boone Harris, preceded her in death in 2002. They were married June 12, 1946.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Linda) Bradham, Wooster, Ohio, and Shirley Young, Hopkinsville; four sisters, Dorothy Shobe, Cave City, Betty Rogers, Green Bay, Wis.., Carolyn West, Benton and Helen Frederick, Bowling Green; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
