Cheri Lee Mossburg, 67, of Warren, IN, passed away at 10:50 AM on Friday, December 05, 2014 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. She was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1947, in Norfolk, VA. She married Daniel L. Mossburg on Saturday, August 20, 1966 at the United Methodist Church in Warren. Cheri was a 1965 graduate of Warren High School and also attended Indiana University. She worked in the insurance department at Caylor Nickel Clinic in Bluffton for over 30 years. Cheri then worked at Lowes in Bluffton, until she retired in 2009. She enjoyed working in her flower bed, reading, crocheting, cross-stitch and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include: Husband - Daniel L. Mossburg, Warren, IN., Son - Michael (Companion, Tonya Holley) Mossburg, Bluffton, IN., Daughter - Lori (Mossburg) Booher, Yorktown, IN., Grandson - Nicholas Booher, Decatur, IN., Granddaughter - Brandi Booher, Decatur, IN., Granddaughter - Cheyenne Mossburg, Pierceton, IN., Brother - Phil (Wife, Nancy) Pownall, Litchfield Park, AZ and Brother - Steve (Wife, Ann) Pownall, Las Cruces, NM.
She was preceded in death by her: Mother - Mary Dean (Campbell) Pownall, Father - Wilfred L. Pownall and Sister - Marsha Diane Pownall.
In honoring Cheri’s wishes, the family will be having a private graveside service. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory in Marion.
