ODESSA Peggy Colleen Glover, 74, of Odessa, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at her residence in Odessa.

Memorial services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Healdton, Okla.ODESSA, TX - Peggy Colleene Glover, 74, of Odessa, tragically lost her life on May 23, 2011. Her husband, Dick, also passed away in their Odessa home.

Peggy was born in Healdton, Oklahoma on July 15, 1936, to Samuel A. and Lela Maness. She owned and operated Gemstar Inc., a pressure vessel manufacturing company for the oil industry, which was founded by her late husband, Ed Gray in 1958. She married Dick Glover on March 28, 1980 and they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this year.

Survivors include her sons, Kevin Gray of Odessa and Gregory Gray of Colleyville; daughter, Teresa Trotter of Odessa; and 8 grandchildren.

Peggy was born in Healdton, OK on July 15, 1936 to Samuel A. and Lela Maness. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother, a dear, caring friend to all who knew her. Peggy was the owner/CEO of Gemstar, Inc. and had successfully operated her business since 1976. She was also active in her church, Westminister Presbyterian, plus numerous other organizations, instilling in her children as well as grandchildren the importance of family and faith. Peggy's influence and legacy will forever be carried forward. No one was more generous, unselfish, or caring than Peggy who was our guardian angel having possessed all the qualities we strive to attain. Her influence and guidance is a testament to the extraordinary woman we all knew her to be.

Peggy and Dick were married on March 28, 1980 and celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary this year.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her children, Greg Gray, his wife Dena and their children Chrissy, Trent and Erica; Teresa Trotter, her husband Stacy and their children Sean and Noelle; and Kevin Gray and his children Megan, Kendall and Garrett.
