Margaret E. Weber, 98, formerly of Ponca died Friday, April 2, 2004, at St. Joseph's Rehab and Care Center in Norfolk, Neb.

Margaret E. Weber was born September 14, 1905 in Newcastle, Nebraska, the daughter of Thomas P. and Katherine A. (Mangan) Fitzgerald.

She married Frank Weber on Aug. 17, 1931, in Newcastle. The couple farmed in the Ponca area.

She was survived by 1 son and his wife, 1 daughter-in-law, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one grandson, two great-grandsons and five sisters.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ponca. Burial will be in Calvary at South Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present 6 p.m. and a vigil service at 7:30 p.m., at Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca.
