Son of William Henry and Agnes Bleasdell, died while serving as a bombardier with the 4th Battery, 1st Canadian Contingent. Harold Bleasdell, a surveyor by trade, enlisted in Sept. 1914 to serve overseas. Harold died at the Hamilton Military Sanatorium. A military funeral was held on Tuesday, April 16, 1918, beginning at his mother's home on Farnham Avenue. His sacrifice is recognized on Grace Church on-the-Hill's Honour Roll 1914-18.
