MICHAEL "MIKE"
Died on April 9, 2014, eldest son of Leonard and Irene (Dell'Aquila) Liscio. He was born on May 8, 1923. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, John, Leonard and Rocco Liscio; and sister, Concetta Mancini; he is survived by brothers, Paul and Tony Liscio; and sisters-in-law, Lucy (Mrs. Rocco) and Annette (Mrs. Tony) Liscio; along with numerous nieces and nephews. During WWII, he drove a half-track with anti-aircaft guns attached to the half-track. Mike fought in battles in North France, Rhineland, Ardennes, Bastonne, Belgium, France, and Central Europe, 465th Anti-Aircraft Battalion Third Army. He was known as "Black Mike." Before he retired, Mike worked as a plumber for Kelly Realty. The family would like to say a special thank you to his neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Busch and Mark Deluca. Friends received Monday 9-11 a.m. at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC. A Blessing Service at the funeral home Monday 11 a.m.
