She was born to William and Mary (Westcott) Wormly of Corning, R. D. 1 on 8 Jan 1863. She married James C. Well on 29 Jun 1879 in Corning.
Carrie spent her entire life in the area and owned her own farm for 65 years. At the time of her death, she was living with her grand-daughter, Alta Corzett Farado, & grand-son-in-law, Peter Farado, both of Painted Post R. D. 1.
Surviving family members: Mrs. Lilla (nee Weller) Corzett Kelley (dau), of Painted Post; Mr. Myron Weller (son) of Montour Falls; two grandchildren - Alta Farado & Commander Harold Corzett of Washington D. C.; and one great grand-daughter, Joan Corzett, of Washington D. C.
The body was interred at Coopers Plains Cemetery.
