Mrs. Wilson died Friday, July 23, 2004, in Lubbock, TX.
She was born March 7, 1918 in Bonham, TX. She married Earnest Woodrow Wilson in Hale County, TX on March 15, 1935. He preceded her in death April 29, 1996. She was a longtime Abernathy resident and was employed at the Abernathy ISD. She was a member of the Cornerstone Family Church in Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Michael Shane Wilson, March 31, 1999 and Tyler Wilson, August 25, 2001.
Survivors include 4 sons, Earnest J. Wilson and Church Wilson both of Lubbock, TX, David Earl Wilson and Chris Wilson both of Abernathy, TX, 3 daughters, Virginia Cooley of Springtown, TX, Pat Bridgers of Lubbock, TX and Brenda Gentry of Snyder, TX, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
