Mabel Taylor Kenney, 94, of Delmar, Delaware passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Kenney was the daughter of Littleton and Winnie Taylor. She was born on June 16, 1923 in Delmar.

She joins her cherished husband of 58 years, Lynn Kenney who preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bruce Kenney, Sr.; and siblings, Agnes Taylor, James Taylor, Howard Taylor, Margaret Carlisle, and Lola Tingle.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Wootten, her grandchildren, Tammy Mears (Craig), Tracy Payne (Shane), Wendy Kenney, Bruce Kenney, Jr. (Sandy), and Faith Richardson; 10 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Virginia Sparrow of Delmar.

Her life was spent being there for her family. She was a member of Line United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Line United Methodist Church, c/o Karen Bailey, P.O. Box 398, Pittsville, MD 21850.
