Joann M Graff, 22, the daughter of John and Viola Graff, was murdered by the Boston Strangler. Joann was found strangled in her downtown Lawrence apartment. She went to Lawrence last July to take a job as a pattern designer for the Bolta Products Division of the General Tire and Rubber Co. Miss Graff lived alone. She had taught Sunday School at Lutheran Redeemer Church. Joann had graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago, which recommended her for the job with the Bolta firm. She previously attended Chicago Vocational High School and Trinity Lutheran School.Victim of The Boston Strangler, believed to be Albert DeSalvo.
