Eugene Clarkson received a telegram on Monday announcing the death of his sister, Emma, at Independence, Kan., where she and her mother went about three months ago. She was about 53 years of age. No particulars concerning her illness and death have been received, except that it was due to Brights disease. The funeral and burial took place at Independence."
