Former assistant and attorney to the president of the Erie Railroad, Mr. Atterbury was an 1864 graduate of Yale.

Section 77, Joined Lots 1389-1392.
Eight stones lying flat on the ground are arranged around the perimeter of this burial circle, in the center of which stands the impressive monument for Samuel Mitchill.
[NOTE: Individuals buried here but not memorialized by any currently visible or legible stone or inscription are noted after the inscriptions.]
