Jean Dingman, 89, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown NJ. Born in Glasgow Scotland where she lived until meeting and falling in love with her husband Marshall from Canada. Marshall served in the Air Force at the time. Jean was born on May 22, 1924 in Glasgow, Scotland. She was a communicant of All Saints Episcopal Church in Navesink, NJ. Jean moved to Canada in 1945, living in Niagara Falls with family, moved to NJ in 1969 and managed apartments for 25 years. Jean is predeceased by her husband, Marshall, of 56 years, mother and father. Surviving are four children and their spouses, and 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Jean was involved in the Cosmopolitan Club and Episcopal Church Womens Club where she made and developed many long lasting friendships. Jean was a loving grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She cherished her Scottish heritage and memories from childhood spent in her home country. Jean was a pleasure to know and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
