Mrs. Lola Mae Alexander, 69, Los Angeles, ex-Portland resident and mother of Mrs. Dean F. Sherman, Portland, died August 30 in Los Angeles. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Colonial mortuary with Rev. George R. Turney, St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal church in charge. Mrs. Alexander was born April 8, 1884, in Pattenburg [sic], Miss., and came to Portland in 1912. In 1933 she moved to Juneau, Alaska, with her husband, George Alexander, when he was appointed a federal judge there. They moved to California in 1947. Besides Mrs. Sherman, survivors are another daughter, Julia Jane Alexander, Los Angeles, one granddaughter, and one cousin.
