Previously, he was a fireman for 25 years with the Indianapolis Fire Department, retiring in 1974. A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. McGee was a member of the Greenwood American Legion Post. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Fire Department Survive Alive Program. Services: 10:30 a.m. May 23 in Pasco Memorial Mortuary, Greenfield, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. May 22. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. He was the widower of Virgie Spencer McGee and Mildred Settles McGee. Survivors: daughters Sandra McGee-Moffett, Kathy Whitaker: brother Rhea McGee; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
