The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Salisbury Church in Hutton. Burial will be in the Salisbury Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Caudill-King Funeral Home.
He has born April 18, 1940, in Coles County, the son of William H. and Ruth Hacker Cushman. He married Carolyn Kay White in 1978; she survives.
Also surviving are his parents of Charleston; three sons, Tony Cushman of Brocton, Charles Turnbaugh of Joliet and Danny Turnbaugh of Charleston; two daughters, Mitzi Porter of California and Peggy Russell of Joliet; two sisters, Rosemary Crable and Kay Ann Cushman, both of Charleston; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Mr. Cushman was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a prison guard at Joliet. He formerly worked at the Union Oil Co. and as a janitor at the Charleston National Bank.
