Nancy was an exceptionally intelligent individual with a wealth of knowledge; and she was a vibrant, high spirited person. Nancy never met a stranger; she was very sociable, enjoyed meeting and talking to people and eating out at new restaurants. She was a naturalist who adored nature as God's beautiful creations and she always fed and observed birds and squirrels. Nancy loved the Lord and treasured her family and friends, and took great pride in her heritage and she also loved to tell everyone's story.
Nancy leaves to cherish her memories her cousin, Rita Lee (Joe) Smith; and a host of family and friends, and her devoted friends, Danny and Tammie Cornelous and family.
Nancy was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Rachel Abrell; and other family members.
The Family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the comforting expressions of kindness shown during this time of bereavement.
A graveside committal service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Grandview Cemetery, 1601 Lockport Road. Funeral service will be officiated by Russell Funeral Home, 419 N. 21st St.
