FRYE~George W. Frye, aged 74 years, died at 12 o'clock midnight at his home, 84 Sherman Avenue, after a short illness. While visiting at the home of his son in Cleveland on June 6, Mr. Frye suffered a stroke of paralysis. He was brought here to his home last Saturday. Mr. Frye was born April 30, 1848 and has been a resident of Mansfield for many years. He is survived by his wife, Alma Berry Frye, and three children by a first marriage. Homer V. Frye, of this city, Mrs. J. B. Stober, of Lexington, and Martin V. Frye, of Cleveland; also two brothers, Dr. J. M. Frye, of Shenandoah, and Rev. V.L. Frye , of Louisville; one sister, Mrs. E. R. Houston, of Cleveland, and eight grandchildren. He was a charter member of the Central Methodist Episcopal Church and active in church work. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the family home, conducted by the Rev. C. B. Hess, of the Central M. E. Church. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
