Felipe had an awesome sense of humor; he always lit up a room whenever he entered. He loved plays on words. He often wore a T-shirt that said "Everyday I wake up more handsome, but today I exaggerated."
Felipe spent most of his money-making time doing day labor, such as yardwork, property cleanup, small carpentry jobs, and the like. When Felipe was younger, he was kind of hard on himself and it was later in life when he realized he needed to change many of his habits.
Besides his wife, Felipe leaves behind a big family: one brother Juan José, six step-children, and 13 step-grandkids.
On the day of Felipe's death, the family got together to speak of their fond memories of Felipe. His remains were later cremated under the care of Autry Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held for Felipe at the Templo Senda de Luz at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22. Felipe will be sorely missed.
