Mrs. Lucille Arrington of DeBerry, TX, was born to the late Rob and Lillie Sessums Boyd. She married Robert Lee Arrington on Jan. 17, 1943, in Morgan, TX, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2012. The Arrington's were ordained as ministers of the United Pentecostal Church International in 1953. The first church they pastored was in Clifton, TX. They went on to pastor numerous other churches in the Central and East Texas area. Rev. and Mrs. Arrington founded the First United Pentecostal Church in Waukesha, WI, and ministered there for 12 years. Ministry was her life's work and she was dedicated to helping people. She retired with her husband and moved to Carthage in 1986, from Waukesha.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Arrington was preceded in death by one sister, Guilla Mae Cox Flippo, and one son, Robert Dale Arrington.
