Obituary Information:

Naomi Lee Wood, 89, passed away on November 24, 2005 in Stockton. Naomi was born August 16, 1916 in the rural area of Howard County, Arkansas. She moved out to California in 1938 and then began working as a family personal assistant for Mr. Terrell Sartain and family where she worked for 18 years. She lived in the Modesto area for 18 years then moving to Colusa where she lived for 15 years until moving to Stockton where she has lived for the past 24 years. Naomi was a wonderful seamstress and cook. She especially enjoyed using her cooking talents making desserts.
Naomi is survived by her son Dorman Wood and his wife Maxine of Monument, CO., her sisters Carrie Crane, Delphia Coker and Bessie Stewart all of Oklahoma, her grandchildren Denise Wood, Cindy Welborn and Michael Glenn Pigeon, her great grandchildren Joshua Welborn, Beau Welborn, Nash Welborn, Ashley Wood and Courtney Wood and she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Clifford Wood, her son Harold Shields, her brothers Dale, Homer and John Logan, her sister Beulah Hogan, her grandson Kevin Wood and her great granddaughter Holland Welborn.
